Kevin had a Wine and Cheese party last night. It was a nice little affair that made me sorry that I had skipped his other parties because of my kids. I always thought they would be ratty and mess up the party. Well, they were ratty but it was all taken in stride by the other guests and we had a great time.
There were a cornicopia of interesting people to talk to. (Kevin has a very diverse clientele) Several foreigners, a spastically happy blonde girl with a baby and a Japanese husband. A dentist who offered to fix my dog’s teeth and even whiten them at a discount. Mary and I had more fun that we would of had if we had just stayed home... I’m happy I went and I hope Kevin forgets how bad my kids were so he will invite me us next time.
