Mary is really coming into her own as a cook. She attempted to make a traditional holiday feast this year and she succeeded beautifully.
Top View of the Feast
She spent all day, from dawn till about 5PM preparing the food and home for our celebration. At dinner time the house was spotless and full of delicious smells. We ate and ate. Even the kids (who usually only eat sandwiches and simple foods because they are such picky eaters) ate with abandon. They tried the sweet potatos and liked them!!

Homemade Icebox Cookies
I got a photo from Jeff. They had Thanksgiving at Janet’s house this year. They ate Mexican food. Didn’t hear if it was any good, but our family gatherings are less about the food and more about spending time together and catching up. I wish they would come to my house... Pictured are my neices: TJ, Cali and nephew Tristin.
Dressing and Mashed Potatos
Pumpkin Pie
I need to mention that the Sweet Potatos were esspecially tasty this year. I prefered them to the Pumpkin Pie as a dessert.
Now, I have the anticipated pleasure of eating the leftovers for at least 2 or 3 more days.
