Russian Village

April 28th, 2002

For this Sunday’s Family Time activity we went to Russian Village. We hadn’t gone for a couple of years and wanted to see if it had changed any.  We had also planned to go to Inu Dobutsuen (Dog Zoo), but it was closed.

To tell the truth, it wasn’t much of a trip. The park is having obvious money problems and the offerings were few.

At the Front Gate

A dancing troupe gave a spirited performance. We watched for awhile, but the kids got bored and we had to go walk around. The food was low quality fast food...no lower...
They had a robot wooly mammoth, but it held our attention for about 5 seconds..
In conclusion: give it a pass.  You won’t miss anything unless you like low budget shows and japanese style russian food.
