Return to Japan

On the Flight Home

So I went to the flight attendent and asked for a seat for my infant somewhere over the wing (quiet area) but as it turned out the discount ticket we got for the baby doesn’t entitle us to a seat for him.  All the other times we got seats were just courtesy... so we shut up and sat down.

Uno Chicago Style Pizza

The flight home was wonderfully uneventful.  Aunt Linda dropped us off at the airport with time to spare.  We checked in and boarded smoothly. The transfer in Chicago went off without a hitch because it was domestic to international. The only bad point is that we got seats in the back of the plane (noisy area) and Mary felt slighted.

Hey! Look this way!

Nobody got sick on the flight, the food was actually good (Uno Pizza) and there were 3 good movies.

When we landed in Narita, we shipped our bags by delivery service and rode the Shinkansen home.

Next day I drove to JOMO and picked up Tony. I gave the dog sitters a bunch of presents (I know they earned them) and our trip was officially over.
