NHS Halloween

October 31st, 2002

I had planned a nice school party for the Nakajo High School students in my class. I was going to play some Halloween games and give candy as prizes... but only one girl dressed up in the first class and 2 girls in the second class. They all wore trash bag dresses...
So I gave them all Trick or Treat candy and talked about Halloween.  They blew gum bubbles and I tried to take pictures but they kept breaking too soon.

Today’s Favorite Student

Especially Jun!! See that kid down there? He is Jun and he makes me a little crazy.  He sleeps in my classes and excels at causing good natured mayhem. See his gummy face.  He taunted me with a bubble but just as I got the camera ready  be broke it... throwing the whole class into fits of laughter.  Grrrrr.

Anyway, we talked a while, joked and had fun... all the while using English.  And thats what it’s all about.
