The Party Decorations

We had a great party for Kurokawa Elemantary School. I planned the party almost a month in advance. We had posters all over the gym, blow up halloween dolls and all sorts of other decorations. I told the kids that everyone had to dress up in costumes for the event... and they did! If you look at the 2nd grade class, everyone has handmade masks.
Although we had a great plan... during the first party which included grades 1 thru 3, one of the teachers modified the costume contest so that it took way

The Mummy Game

Of course, there were lots and lots of prizes for everyone, winners and tryers (nobody is a loser).

I want to say thank you to Mary, “Thank you, thank you, thank you!”  Without her help I really doubt I could have pulled it off. She was everywhere I needed her to be, backing me up, coordinating players and making sure everyone was having fun.  Not to mention the fact that she did all the shopping and made most of the decorations.
Whew!  It’s over... till Christmas?

longer than I had planned. So we didn’t have time to do all the games and stories. Taking a lession from this, when a teacher tried to modify the 2nd party (grades 4 thru 6) I just ignored them and the party went very well.

We had a costume contest, The story of Jack-O-Lantern, Bob for Apples, Mummy Game and Bone Game.
